Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all coaching services provided by Lifeyoungflex ("we", "us", "our"), operating from Level 2, 300 Queen Street, Auckland 1010, New Zealand. It sets out the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are available and your rights as a consumer under New Zealand law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

We encourage you to read this policy carefully before booking any service. If you have questions, please contact us before completing your booking.

2. Your Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand), you are entitled to services that are:

  • Carried out with reasonable care and skill.
  • Fit for the purpose for which they were described.
  • Completed within a reasonable time.
  • Provided at a reasonable price (where no price was agreed in advance).

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.

3. Cancellation by the Client

3.1 Individual Sessions

3.2 Programme Packages

For multi-session programme packages (such as the 8-Week Evening Routine Optimisation Programme):

  • Before the programme begins: Full refund if requested more than 7 days before the first session. A 10% administration fee applies if the request is made within 7 days of the programme start date.
  • After the programme has commenced: A pro-rata refund will be calculated based on the number of sessions not yet delivered. Any sessions already completed are non-refundable. The pro-rata amount will be refunded within 14 days of a confirmed cancellation request.
  • After 50% of sessions have been delivered: No refund is available for remaining sessions, except where we have failed to meet our service obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

4. Cancellation by Lifeyoungflex

In the event that we need to cancel a confirmed session or programme, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as reasonably practicable.
  • Offer you the option to reschedule at no additional cost, or
  • Provide a full refund for the cancelled session or the unused portion of any programme package.

Refunds in this circumstance will be processed within 10 business days.

5. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

Please include your full name, the date and type of service booked, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and confirm the outcome within 5 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10–14 business days of confirmation, depending on your bank or payment provider. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected events occur. If you need to cancel due to a documented medical emergency or other significant unforeseen circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assess such requests on a case-by-case basis and aim to reach a fair and reasonable outcome.

8. Service Quality Concerns

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of a coaching session or programme, please contact us promptly so we can address your concerns. Where we determine that a service was not delivered with the care and skill described, we will offer an appropriate remedy, which may include re-delivering the service, providing a partial refund, or another fair resolution.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "last updated" date. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
